Geothermal Heat Pumps
One of the most environmentally friendly, efficient and comfortable cooling systems is a geothermal heat pump (GHP) system. GHP systems have been around for at least 60 years but are just getting traction with homeowners and businesses.
GHP systems gather heat from below the earth's surface instead of gathering and transferring heat from within your home. Compared to traditional heating systems, geothermal units use up to 60% less electricity. The expected life of a GHP unit is up to 25 years.
